Adding an Obituary to a Tribute Page
Many obituaries published in newspapers are only available online for one year after publication. However, you can keep the honoree’s obituary available on their tribute page indefinitely.
Note: You must be the Admin of a tribute page in order to add or edit an obituary.
1. Click "Settings" and selecting "Obituary" under the Admin Settings menu
2. Add the honoree's obituary to the text box.
Though many obituaries published in newspapers are only available online for one year after publication, you can preserve the honoree’s obituary on their tribute page indefinitely. To ensure it remains accessible, we recommend preserving the full text of their obituary.
Alternative option: If you'd like to direct visitors to an existing online obituary, you can paste a URL in the "Link to an external obituary" field.
3. Click the "Save" button when you're satisfied with the honoree's obituary.
To view the honoree's obituary, click the "Obituary" button on their tribute page.
